"The only romantic thing left in life is a hat."
— Mimi Weddell
There is something wonderfully dramatic about this quote, and Mimi Weddell would have delivered it with a twinkle in her eye. But she has a point. In an age of athleisure and fast fashion, a beautifully made hat is one of the few truly romantic accessories left.
Think about what makes something romantic: care, attention, beauty, and a sense of occasion. A bespoke hat embodies all of those things. It is made with care, designed with attention, crafted to be beautiful, and worn for moments that matter.
A bridal headpiece with delicate veiling. A vintage-inspired pillbox with pearl details. A wide brim that frames your face like a portrait. These are romantic objects in the truest sense.
"Romance is in the details. The way a veil catches the light. The way a feather curves. The way a client gasps when she sees her finished hat for the first time. Millinery is full of romance."
— Kathryn Lee
