Returns & Refunds Policy

At Kathryn Lee Millinery, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. We understand that sometimes a hat may not be exactly what you expected.

Return Policy Overview

We offer a 7-day return period, which begins from the day you receive your millinery item. To be eligible for a return, please ensure that:

  • The hat or accessory is in its original, unworn condition
  • All tags remain attached
  • The item is in its original packaging
  • You have your receipt or proof of purchase

How to Return a Hat

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact us at hats@kathrynleemillinery.com within 7 days of receiving your order
  2. Include your order number and reason for return in your email
  3. Our team will provide you with a return shipping label and detailed instructions
  4. Package your hat carefully in its original box or packaging to ensure it remains in perfect condition during transit
  5. Attach the return shipping label and send the package back to us

Important: Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Please always contact us before sending anything back.

Damages and Quality Issues

We take great pride in our craftsmanship, but if you receive a damaged or defective item:

  • Inspect your millinery piece immediately upon delivery
  • Contact us at hats@kathrynleemillinery.com within 48 hours of receiving the item
  • Include clear photos of the damage or defect
  • Our team will guide you through the return process for damaged items

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Custom-designed or made-to-measure hats created to your specifications
  • Sale items marked as "Final Sale"
  • Gift cards
  • Millinery pieces that show signs of wear or use
  • Items that have been altered in any way
  • Items without their original packaging and tags

Return Shipping

For standard returns, you will be responsible for the cost of return shipping.

For returns due to damage, defects, or if we sent the wrong item, return shipping is free of charge.

Refund Process

Once we receive your return:

  • Our team will inspect the item to ensure it meets our return policy requirements
  • We'll process your refund within 5 business days of receiving the returned item
  • You'll receive an email notification when your refund has been processed
  • The refund will be issued to your original payment method

Please note that depending on your financial institution, it may take an additional 3-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account.
